Homemade Face Masks

I’ve always loved beauty products, masks, and lotions—anything that smells good and feels good on my skin!

Although I’ve explored many products from different lines, I often end up liking home remedies the best. There’s just something special about making things with what you have in your own home.

Here are three of my favorite and easy homemade face masks!

Egg White Face Mask

To tighten pores, simply apply egg whites straight to your face without any other ingredients. Egg whites are a fantastic pore-tightening ingredient. They’re also great for acne and oily skin.

Make sure to clean your face well and pat it dry before applying any mask. This helps keep pores open and receptive to the mask.

Egg White & Honey Mask

To soothe irritated skin, add honey to your egg whites (whisk together 1 tbsp. of honey per 1 egg white). For the best results, add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil, before applying the mask to your face.

Remember that masks should be rubbed gently with your fingertips onto the skin using an upward, circular motion. Don’t apply around the eye area. Allow the mask to dry for 10-15 minutes. Then, rinse off with warm water.

Egg White & Avocado Mask

To nourish the skin, add avocado to your egg whites. Blend one avocado until creamy and combine it with two egg whites. For extra moisture, add two drops of chamomile essential oil to help soothe and soften the skin. Lather the mask on, let dry, and then rinse away with warm water.

The oil from avocados penetrates deeply into the pores, leaving your skin soft and nourished.

Enjoy and experiment, but always remember to do a small test first to see how your skin will react.

I hope you’ve enjoyed some of my beauty secrets for amazing, clean, glowing skin! Are you brave enough to try one of these homemade face masks?
