Power Beet Plus

You can judge a juice by the palette of color its ingredients make. I know this sounds silly, but think about it. Carrots look sweet. Grapefruits look citrusy. Beets look earthy. And limes are a tropical little finisher.  If I had to define this healthy concoction, I’d say it’s sweet and refreshing, yet surprisingly hearty.  What a perfect combination to end the beautiful month of February while getting us ready for spring.

Basically, the fountain of youth has been found—it’s in the plum.

Two such minerals are potassium and zinc. As we know, potassium is an excellent mineral in managing blood pressure.

Nothing cleanses the body quite like beets—I chuckle to myself as I type that. My friend Simon is terrified of smoothies, and I’m convinced that he had a good dose of beets in some infamous concoction in his past. But, I love a juice that helps to purify my system. I’m not talking about anything dramatic, like not being able to leave the house, just that excellent feeling of when everything in your body is in harmony.
