Today marks the latest evolution in the Model Behaviors journey. Over the last year, I’ve slowly introduced eight other women, our Behaviorists, who share their stories, expertise, and passion on a wide variety of topics every month. Sometimes, when I’m reading their posts, when their hearts and souls come blazing through in their words, I have to pinch myself. How did I get so lucky to meet these women? How did I get so lucky to have them be a part of this crazy dream of mine?

Announcing Our Quarterly Book Club Winner!

First of all, thank you to everyone who entered! We’re so excited about the Model Behaviors Quarterly Book Club, and we’re thrilled to see you all excited too! Here’s how the book club will work. On Febuary 18th, we’ll post a blog in the morning with a few pre-questions for everyone to think about, and then at 8:00 p.m. CST, we’ll have a discussion in the comments section of the blog about the book. We’ll use our pre-questions as a jumping-off point, but we welcome your questions and discussion topics as well! Things will wrap up around 9:00 p.m.

A Model Behaviors Interview with L. R. Nicolello, Author of “Dead Don’t Lie”

Recently, we had the opportunity to talk with L. R. Nicolello, a woman who exemplifies everything we strive for here at Model Behaviors—creativity, kindness, friendship, and amazing life accomplishments. Growing up, her parents instilled the belief that women can be strong without losing their femininity. She still abides by this belief today, and it guides the strong female characters she creates.

When Nicolello and her husband aren’t traveling, they hang their hats in Texas with their ninety-pound dog. “Dead Don’t Lie” is her first novel, and her second novel, “Dead No More,” was just released on Monday, January 5. She is currently working on number three. Model Behaviors is so thrilled and honored to introduce our friend L.R. Nicolello!
