I live for this time of year—hayrides, corn mazes, costumes, and carving pumpkins! And for those of us who enjoy coffee, it’s Pumpkin Spice Latte time as well. Needless to say, it can be a dangerous time of year with gourmet coffee drinks, baked goodies, and trick-or-treat candy. So each year, this question kept coming up: How do I partake in the festivities without having to tackle the extra pounds with New Year’s resolutions? The answer: AdvoCare Carrot Spice Smoothie. Today on The Monday Menu, enjoy the taste of the holidays without feeling guilty!
- 1 12-oz bottle of juice (I use my weekly fall concoction of celery root, cucumber, carrot, and ginger)
- 1 8-oz bottle of drinkable yogurt (I love the Lucky Layla Farms brand in banana)
- 1 cup of honey pecans
- 1 oz of raw cashews
- 1 tbsp of virgin coconut oil
- 1 AdvoCare meal Replacement Shake (vanilla)
- 4 cups of ice
- 1 tbsp of nutmeg (also use for topping)
- Toss everything into blender (or Vitamix), activate, and serve.
- Sprinkle nutmeg for some extra spice.
