You simply CANNOT have a Halloween haunted fashion show without scary good hair and makeup. Kelly loved Halloween for this very reason. Every year she got so excited, letting her imagination go to weird, unexplored places in order to create breathtaking, shocking, out-of-this world looks for herself, for her son, and for her friends on this most beloved holiday.
Here are just a couple of my favorite Halloween looks she created for me over the years.

Lana Adams: Runway Hair Director
A Texas native, Lana Adams is known to be a visionary at heart. Originally trained internationally in London, she established herself as one of the top respected artists in the fashion industry through her award-winning standards. Her impressive ability to execute a distinct and refined style has lead to years of experience working across the country for retail giants like Neiman Marcus and has provided her opportunities to shoot with celebrities like Sharon Stone, Donna Karan, and many others. She’s directed beauty teams at a wide array of events and worked on top runway shows with designers like Oscar de la Renta and Calvin Klein. In addition to her creative pursuits, Lana’s compassion has led her to the mission field in Africa, Belize, Peru and Honduras. She currently serves as the marketing director for EmpowerDreams.org, which partners with organizations to help them effectively reach the maximum potential for the communities they serve. Lana is currently represented by the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas.

L.B. Rosser: Runway Makeup Director
L.B. Rosser has been working in the fashion and beauty business for almost twenty years. His work has appeared in Vogue, W, Allure, and Glamour, as well as in many advertising campaigns and a wide array of catalog work. He has also been busy backstage working for such designers as Giorgio Armani, Marchesa, Marc Bouwer, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and Roberto Cavalli. L.B. is currently represented by the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas.

We’re so excited to see what this amazingly talented group of folks is going to create on the Friscovania runway. This is going to be one of the most exciting fashion events of the year, and you don’t want to miss it. So many outstanding artists have come together in honor of Kelly Whaley to be part of a show that will benefit City House of Collin County.
Just as a reminder, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. there will be a children’s carnival with safe trick-or-treating. Then from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., we’ll have live music, dancing, and a haunted fashion show. Learn more details about the event here.
