Woman of the Month: A Day in the Life of Candace Oliver (Giveaway)

If you missed the announcement, Candace Oliver is our Woman of the Month! We covered a lot of great topics in our interview with her, but today we’re taking a closer look at what everyday life is like for this work-from-home mama.

She and her family just welcomed a baby girl into the household, so when she sent her schedule over to us, she said that she’s using the word “schedule” very loosely. Each day is different than the last with a five-week-old baby! But what I love about Candace’s hectic flurry of activity throughout the day is that she centers herself around love and helping others. She also works in moments for self-reflection to help ground herself for whatever challenges may come. I love that mindful intention!

Woman of the Month: Jackie Gage (Interview + Album Giveaway)

Our Woman of the Month for February is Jackie Gage! She’s a singer with a velvety rich voice, a musician who mixes elements of soul, jazz, and R&B, and a woman who believes wholeheartedly in her art and, most importantly, herself.

She recently relocated from the Bay Area to NYC, and her sound and her identity are in a constant state of evolution. She and Courtney chatted about an artist’s drive to create, what it takes to self-produce an album of this magnitude, and the exploration of a musical identity. Jackie’s self-produced debut album, Siren Songs, comes out on March 15th. Lucky for you guys, she’s giving away an advance copy of the album to one lucky reader!
