Happy Earth Day: Start Using Reusable Self Filtering Water Bottles

Have you heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? It’s an island of plastic bottles, bags, and other plastic items twice the size of Texas floating in the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and California.  Common sense would tell us that this is obviously harming the ocean and marine life.  To learn more about Garbage Island, click here.

Now, think about the amount of water bottles that you go through on a daily basis, especially, if you lead an OTG lifestyle and you’re trying to get your required eight glasses of water in per day.  I too drink a lot of water, but with chemicals like PVC, BPA, and phthalate, I was becoming more and more concerned about my health and the environment.  And if you’re like me, you probably like the convenience of a lightweight plastic water bottle so neither a sports bottle nor hard plastic cup, with a twist-on top and straw will do.  Then, I became acquainted with the Bobble.

This smartly designed water bottle filters water, saves money, protects the environment, and it’s chemical free.  Give them a try.  You can order your bottles online, and sign up for the little reminder to change out your filters.

This Earth Day, reduce your carbon footprint, and try a Bobble!
