Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Today, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to humanity by fighting fearlessly during turbulent, troubling times to end racial segregation.  We honor him on this day, his Holiday, for his tireless efforts to empower people of all races.  He didn’t just dream of a colorblind democratic society; he set our Nation on the path toward that goal, and he dedicated his life for freedom, justice, and equality.

We at Model Behaviors celebrate diversity and the empowerment of both women and men of all economic backgrounds, ethnicities, races, and life stages. We’re grateful for Dr. King and his heroic achievements.  To fully realize his dream, we acknowledge all the strides that have been made and all that is still left for us to do.  Tonight, we are honoring the power of diversity by hosting a pop-up dinner for Dallas Faces Race to encourage conversation about race and ethnicity in our community.  We will share our findings and revelations with our Model Behaviors’ seekers on Wednesday, but to learn more today about Dallas Faces Race and their conference addressing racial equity and change click here.
