I just adored Rachael and Courtney’s interview from the beginning of the month! If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, I definitely recommend dusting off your fascinator, making a spot of tea, and catching up on this brilliant read.
Today we’re peeking into the momma-to-be’s busy, busy jet-setting life as an award-winning colorist at Hair by Charlie in Dallas. This die-hard Manchester United fan and horse whisperer has a way with hair, and this just isn’t something that I’ve read in Vogue (YES, she’s been featured in the famed magazine for her work). We met when she worked at Frederic Fekkai, and after just one visit, I knew she’d do my hair for the rest of my life—whether she wanted to or not!
And seven years later, we’re still going strong, and now she does almost every one of my friends’ color as well. Both Laurie and Priya can attest to her tremendous talent. But probably my favorite thing about sitting in Rachael’s chair is that she always makes you feel like you’re hanging out with one of your best friends. I never even realize that I’m getting my hair done—we laugh, we cry, and I always look and feel better than when I walked through those doors.
She’s truly a wonder woman, and even after sixteen years, she still loves what she does. I’m so happy to share this dynamo with all of my friends and now all of our readers as our May Woman of the Month.
