Marzia's Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 fresh banana
  • ¾ cup frozen pumpkin chunks
  • ½ cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 scoops SunWarrior Classic Blend vanilla protein powder
  • ½ to 1 cup water for desired smoothie consistency
Instructions
  1. Start with a fresh, organic banana. Toss it in a blender with frozen pumpkin chunks, organic pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice blend, and a little bit of water so it can blend smoothly.
  2. Top it off with some Warrior Blend vanilla protein for extra protein and nutrition. Blend it up, adding a little water to get the consistency you like. I enjoy my smoothies a little on the thick side, but fully blended and creamy.
  3. Pour it in a fancy glass and sip away. It’s that easy!
  4. Optional: garnish with pumpkin seeds on top for added crunch in your smoothie.
Notes
Tip: If you don’t use a fresh pumpkin for this recipe, you can use organic pumpkin puree in a can that has a BPA-Free liner. Make sure that it does not have added sugars. Make sure the ingredients panel reads, “Organic pumpkin puree.” You can freeze some organic pumpkin puree in ice cube trays and keep some fresh in the fridge. That way you have both frozen and fresh pumpkin puree for your smoothie.
